Community Owned Renewables

A free seminar on Community Power Co-ops and Solar Garden Programs. November 28. Come hear about the vibrant, growing movement enabling community-‐based and community-‐owned renewable energy programs. Since 1998 the Toronto Renewable Energy Co-‐op has been a leader in this movement. Its accomplishments include a 660kW wind turbine owned by 400 small investors, 600 kW of current distributed generaIon solar projects, and an on-‐going venture to establish a 20 MW community owned wind farm.
